Before you start
- Your Purified Beauty Shower Filter
- Your shower hose or shower head
- Any included washers or seals
- A clean, dry area to work in
Turn off the shower before removing any parts.
Remove your existing shower hose or shower head
Unscrew your existing shower hose or shower head from the water outlet. In most cases, this can be done by hand. If the connection is tight, loosen it gently without forcing it.
Attach the Purified Beauty Shower Filter
Place the Purified Beauty Shower Filter between the water outlet and the shower hose or shower head. Make sure the filter is facing the correct direction if directional arrows are shown on the product.
Tighten the connection by hand
Do not overtighten, as this may damage the connection or washer.
Run the water before first use
Turn the shower on and allow water to run through the filter for a short time before using it for the first time. This helps flush the filter and prepare it for use.
Check for leaks
Check each connection point while the water is running. If you notice a leak, turn off the shower, check the washer is in place and gently retighten the connection.

The filter is leaking
Check that the washer or seal is correctly positioned. Remove and reattach the filter, then tighten by hand.
The filter does not seem to fit
Purified Beauty is designed to fit most standard shower systems. If you are unsure, contact us with a photo of your shower connection and we will be happy to advise.
The water pressure has changed
A small change in water flow can happen with some filtration systems. If the pressure drops significantly, check that the filter has been installed correctly and that the cartridge does not need replacing.
I am not sure which way the filter should face
Check the product for any directional markings. If you are still unsure, contact us with a photo before use.
